Opening Day...

What hope, what anticipation, what excitement is stirring inside my soul as I compose the text for my very first blog... What a wonderful gift God has given us, the art of expression through word, that we can compose freely the innumerable questions and emotions that flow in and out of our own souls... To display in more than mere thought, all the triumphs and victories we obtain in this life, all the pain and agony we endure, as well as all of the rest of life that falls somewhere in between...

As I begin this attempt at "unleashing my creative soul," I am hopeful that God will give me grace to revisit a place within myself which has been forgotten, or at least placed to the side as I'm forced to tend to the tyranny of the urgent... a natural occurrence that comes as you lay down your life to serve your husband and your family. I'm sure that patience will be a necessary virtue for me to lay hold of throughout this process, but I am filled with anticipation as I press in to give it a try.

May the unleashing begin, let inspiration and creativity come forth... and may God be glorified and praised through the process...
